Today's Hawaii real estate market offers a different view
as buyers are getting the upper hand which makes buying

are eligible for a tax credit equal to 10% of the home's
purchase up to $8,000. The person buying a
Hawaii real estate property must not have owned a
principle residence within the past 3 years prior to
purchase and will make this home their primary
residence. Single taxpayers must not exceed and
income of $75,000 and married couple incomes up to
$150,000 qualify for the full tax credit. Congress
has extended his tax credit is available on home
purchases till April 30th 2010. It's a good idea to consult
with your personal CPA on all tax matters and new tax
programs. They even
expanded the credit to grant up to $6,500 credit to
current home owners purchasing a new or existing home
between November 7, 2009 and April 30, 2010. It
normally takes about 30-45 days to close on a
transaction so plan ahead early with your Realtor to
take advantage of these awesome tax breaks.
