Today's Hawaii real estate market offers a different view
as buyers are getting the upper hand which makes buying

First time Hawaii home buyer purchasing property
are eligible for a tax credit equal to 10% of the home's
purchase up to $8,000. The person buying a
Hawaii real estate property must not have owned a
principle residence within the past 3 years prior to
purchase and will make this home their primary
residence. Single taxpayers must not exceed and
income of $75,000 and married couple incomes up to
$150,000 qualify for the full tax credit. This tax
credit is available on home purchases from January 1st
to December 1st 2009. It's a good idea to consult
with your personal CPA on all tax matters and new tax
programs.
